3 Phase Coreless Permanent Magnet Generator Featuring Aluminum Alloy Shell and Inner Rotor Structure Suitable for Renewable Energy

Product Overview

The GREEF NEW ENERGY GDG series features a disc-type permanent magnet generator that operates without an iron core. In this innovative design, the spindle and rotor are arranged in a disc shape, with the stator fixed at the center and the rotor rotating on both sides. The spindle contains only windings and excludes any iron core components.

Both stator and rotor utilize flat disc configurations with axial air gap magnetic flux, alternately positioned along the axial direction to create an efficient magnetic circuit. The generator's short axial length combined with large diameter enables practical multi-pole construction, delivering high power-to-weight ratio and effective low-speed operation.

Low Start Torque Technology: Eliminates hysteresis and gear notches for extremely low starting torque (less than 0.1 N*m), ensuring smooth and efficient operation

“I built a small pico hydro system on the creek behind my off-grid cabin. The water head is only 3 meters and flow rate around 0.2 m³/s – too low for most generators. This axial flux coreless unit starts generating usable power at just 150 RPM. No cogging, no iron loss, and it’s silent. I’m getting 300-400W continuously, 24/7. My old induction generator would barely light an LED at that speed. Absolutely perfect for low-head hydro.”
